A process server can only plan an assignment from the information supplied. A complete request reduces back-and-forth, avoids preventable delays, and creates a clearer factual record of each attendance.
1. Confirm what you are asking the server to do
Identify the exact person or organization to be served, the documents supplied, and the service address. File & Serve does not choose the form, decide the legally permitted method, calculate a limitation period, or provide legal advice.
2. Upload a complete document set
Upload the final documents intended for physical service. The existing request page counts supported file pages for printing and keeps the uploaded batch connected to the paid request.
3. Provide recipient and address details
Include the recipient’s full name or exact corporate name, unit number, city, province, postal code, known workplace or residence information, access details, and any reliable description that can lawfully assist attendance.
4. State the real deadline and urgency
Provide the actual requested completion date and explain why the matter is urgent. Rush acceptance remains subject to availability, travel, document readiness, and the time left to make appropriate attempts.
5. Use the existing postal-code calculator
Enter the service-destination postal code on the request page. The operational calculator determines distance from the nearest File & Serve office and displays applicable travel charges. No resource or city page replaces that calculation.
6. Review the service record after attendance
When service or attempts are completed, File & Serve provides the applicable Service Confirmation / Proof of Service from its factual record. A commissioned affidavit may be available when File & Serve completes service and can prepare it from that record.
