Administrative support

In-person courthouse attendance when feasible

File & Serve can assess a request to physically attend the courthouse identified by the client and present documents for filing. Court staff control acceptance, fees, stamping, rejection, and return instructions.

Client identifies the filing requirement

Provide the correct courthouse, file number, documents, copies, deadline, payment or fee instructions, and return requirements.

File & Serve reviews feasibility

Availability depends on location, courthouse hours, timing, document readiness, travel, and the requested service.

Attendance is recorded

File & Serve reports the administrative outcome of the attendance and returns available stamped or rejected materials according to the agreed instructions.

Important limitation

No e-filing and no legal advice

The supplied File & Serve service terms describe in-person filing support and state that e-filing is not offered. File & Serve does not decide whether a document must be filed electronically or in person.

Court acceptance is never guaranteed

A courthouse may reject documents because of form, fee, jurisdiction, timing, missing information, procedural requirements, or other issues. File & Serve cannot correct legal deficiencies or advise on the next step.

Combined requests

Filing and service can be separate steps

A client may ask File & Serve to assess both an in-person filing attendance and later process serving. The client must provide the correct sequence, recipient, deadline, documents, and instructions. The service record does not substitute for legal advice.
