Service Confirmation is included. For service performed by File & Serve, affidavit preparation ($25) plus independent commissioning ($25) is $50 + HST; commissioning only is $25 + HST when you supply a complete, unsigned affidavit for that same job. Commissioning only excludes preparation or correction. The actual server must review and swear or affirm the facts before a different authorized commissioner. Preparation records who attended, when, where and how service occurred.
These options are limited to service actually performed by File & Serve. Clients supply the applicable form and instructions. We do not advise whether an affidavit is legally required, choose legal strategy or make legal conclusions. Commissioning only excludes preparing or correcting the client’s draft.
